Jer added facts:
I have conflicting memories of the dent in the chuch garage door. It was definitly my fault (as well as the hole in the Dormanen's pool), but it was a Ryan Houle shaped dent.
My favorite memory from an ice game was Eric Jayne’s first night at Inkster. I was about to set up shop right in front of him when Decarlo gave me a cross check to the lower back. I took exception to that and gave him an elbow to the head and on and on. I specifically remember Jayne saying, “Hey come on guys! It’s just a game!” Play went the other way breaking us up. Luckily for me 10 seconds later an errant dump in landed right in Danno’s skates with me a couple of feet away from him going full speed. Best hit ever! Later in describing the event Dan said, “I feel like I just came from the dentist!”
My favorite memory from a rollerblade game involves Mark Wolcott. I was ridiculing him for wearing a riot helmet and a Livingston jersey. He had enough and skated at me full speed to fight. I shot an orange hockey ball as hard as I could and hit him square in the nuts. He didn’t want to fight anymore.
For a long time Dan and I had a competition going to see who could knock more people out of the Inkster game. Hit them so hard they never showed up again. As far as I could tell I won the competition 3-2 putting out Jake Rowley, Brad something and Gabe Damian. This competition was an off shoot of a standing Inkster rule, “If your girlfriend or dad showed up to watch you play, everyone was going to run you.”
